My name is Betty Lawson Hammons Davenport. I was born in Artemus, Kentucky, where lived most of my childhood and attended the Artemus Elementary School. I began studying piano as a young child under the direction of Ms Elva Williams.

Piano playing has been a part of my life that I am very thankful for. I was the pianist at the Turkey Creek Baptist Church for many years until being replaced by my very talented daughters!

I treasure the ability God has given me and I am looking forward to helping others learn to play.
