Founder of S. K. Ramsey Performing Arts Center, Rebecca Hampton.
From the moment I was born I knew that I was placed on Earth to live, learn and teach gymnastics.  As a child I had high aspirations of one day sharing my love and talent with others.  Growing up in Flat Lick, Kentucky, I was self-trained spending hours developing my skills in my backyard.  I used my swing set for uneven bars, the soft ground for power tumbling, and my dad built my balance beam.

For my eleventh birthday my only wish was to attend Gail Frederick's School of Gymnastics and Dance.  My first day there I was lucky enough to meet her.  I'll never forget how kind she was to my mom and I.  After class I looked at my mother and said, “one day I want to be just like Mrs. Gail. Mrs. Gail's school allowed me to finally express myself and for that I have become who I am today.

Today I am a mother of two, both a boy and a girl, and a wife to an amazing man.  My family stands behind me in everything I do, and for that it has allowed me to make my dream come true.  I truly love gymnastics, and most of all I love to teach gymnastics.  God has blessed me with a gift and I want to share it with everyone I can.  All children and adults need a place where they can express themselves in whatever skill they may have.  It is for that reason that I am proud to introduce the Sarah Kathern Ramsey Performing Arts Center.  Come hear the sound of music, dance through the halls, paint the beautiful walls and flip to it all!
